End-to-End Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse Implementation
Project Overview:
I designed and implemented a complete end-to-end data engineering solution using Microsoft Fabric to demonstrate modern Lakehouse architecture, cloud
ingestion, data transformation, semantic modeling, and reporting.
This solution integrates Azure Blob Storage, Dataflow Gen2, Fabric Pipelines, Delta tables, SQL Analytics endpoints, and Power BI to create a scalable and
analytics-ready data platform.
The project simulates how organisations centralise raw cloud data into a governed Lakehouse and enable business-ready insights.
1 Workspace & Lakehouse Setup
Created a dedicated Microsoft Fabric workspace
Provisioned a Lakehouse within OneLake
Configured SQL Analytics Endpoint
Established dbo schema for structured storage
2. Data Ingestion Using Dataflow Gen2
Imported CSV data into Fabric using Dataflow Gen2
Applied transformation logic during ingestion
Loaded structured tables into Lakehouse

3. Azure Blob Integration via Fabric Pipeline
Connected to public Azure Blob container
Created Pipeline using Copy Activity
